Questions and answers

The practical things people usually ask before they book.

Before you start

Is the intro call really free?
Yes. 30 minutes, no obligation, and no sales pitch. If it isn't a fit, we both just say so.
Will my employer find out I'm working with you?
Only if you tell them. What we discuss stays between us, including if your company pays for the sessions.
Can my company pay for the sessions?
Often, yes. Many companies have a development budget for coaching. I can issue an invoice to your employer.
How do I know if this will work for me?
Coaching works best when you're ready to act on what you find, even if you don't know yet what that is. The intro call is the place to test that before you commit to anything.

Sessions

Which platform do we use?
Google Meet. You'll get a link by email, with nothing to install.
Do I have to do homework?
There's no set homework. At the end of each session you choose a next step, and at the start of the next one we look at what happened when you tried it.
Can we switch between coaching and consultation?
Yes. If what you need changes along the way, we change the approach, and we agree it first.
What if I need more sessions after a package?
You can continue with single sessions or start a new package. There's no pressure either way.

The assessment

What kind of assessment is it?
It's part of the packages: a validated personality questionnaire you complete online. There are no right or wrong answers, and you can't fail it.
Who sees my results?
Only you and me. You keep the report.

Payment and confidentiality

What if I'm ill on the day?
Illness happens. Once, you can cancel late because you're ill without paying the fee. After that, the 24-hour rule applies.
Is everything I say confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between us. The one exception applies to every psychologist: if I believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or to someone else, I'm obliged to act to keep people safe. Wherever possible, I'll talk it through with you first.
